Will Brett Favre's streak be broken? Who starts at QB for the Jaguars and does anyone care? Which major fantasy RB looks doubtful for the weekend? Here are the team by team injury reports for week eight of the NFL season to help answer those questions.
The one notable injury in this game is that WR/PR/RB/everything guy Dexter McCluster is questionable with an ankle injury. Kansas City has been very cagey about whether he might be ready to play this weekend.
RB DeAngelo Williams, who has been a disappointment this year anyway is doubtful with a foot injury. Good news for Jonathan Stewart owners, like myself...
For the Rams, Steven Jackson is listed as questionable with a finger injury but he is expected to play
I put "at" in quotes because of course this game will be played in front of the fine little gentleman in foggy London town. WR Eddie Royal was battling a groin injury early in the week, but was a full go on Friday.
For the 49ers, TE Vernon Davis is listed as questionable with an ankle injury, but San Fran beat writers seem to feel he will play.
From a fantasy perspective there’s no surprises here.
For the Jags, it's all about who will play QB. All three of their signal callers are on the injury report, with last week's start Todd Bouman in the worst shape and listed as questionable. Jack Del Rio says that it looks like David Garrard will return as the starter.
Nothing of fantasy note
You might have this week that Brett Favre has a foot and ankle injury that might keep him out this week and break his consecutive games streak. ESPN mentioned this once or twice... I'll believe Favre misses a game when I see it, but if he can't go Tarvaris Jackson will go in his place. As of now Favre is listed as questionable, but look for the final decision to be made on Sunday.
For the Patriots, WR Deion Branch is questionable with a hamstring and RB Fred Taylor is out.
TE Zach Miller is questionable with a foot injury,
The self professed "best team in the NFC" looks pretty healthy this week. The Cardinals also look pretty good and figure to get back rookie QB Max Hall this week.
Kerry Collins and Vinco Young are both on the injury report, but the word is that Vince Young will get the start this week.
Kicker Nate Kaeding is still out for the Chargers and TE Antonio Gates is still questionable with the toe injury he's been fighting for a few weeks.
Once again, the Redskins list half their team as questionable. The only person out for sure is RB Clinton Portis.
For the Lions, Jahvid Best has been limited in practice all week with a toe injury but he should be ready to go.
No Pierre Thomas for another week
This is the Monday Night game so the teams haven't released their full injury report but neither Josepth Addai nor Austin Collie were able to practice on Friday.

Brady’s up to 168 yards, already topping two of his last three games. He has, however, thrown at least one touchdown pass in every game this season. The 65-yarder was his longest pass since week 13 of 2009.

Peterson has now scored at least one touchdown in five of seven games this year, and is on pace for his fourth 100-yard game. But the bigger story so far is Favre’s non-weehaw game-management, especially in light of week-long injury concerns.
Though Favre hasn’t found the end zone, he may wind up with his best game of the season if he continues to avoid throwing picks. He’s thrown at least one interception in all but one game this year, and in that game he only managed 119 yards all day.

No, Tebow doesn’t have any passing yards.

Panthers WR Steve Smith is Carolina’s only noteworthy box score participant, with 38 yards on five catches.
Bradford looks set to exceed 200 yards for his fifth time as a pro. He also produced his fourth game with multiple touchdowns, his third straight game with a touchdown, and his third straight game without an interception. So far, at least, on that last part.

McNabb only has two 300-yard games this year, but has thrown one touchdown in seven straight games. That’s not “at least one touchdown,” either. He’s thrown exactly one touchdown per week. If any team is capable of giving up a second touchdown pass, it’s got to be the Lions, right?

Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles Over 125 Total Yards Already Against Bills
Though Charles broke a 56-yard gain in week one, his 32-yard burst today was his longest run since. Considering the Chiefs tend to keep him below 20 touches per game, fantasy owners hoping for the rare Charles touchdown may not have too many more chances today, especially since the Chiefs should be able to beat the Bills with or without him.

Garrard’s 42-yard touchdown pass to Lewis was his second passing score of the day after an earlier strike to Sims-Walker. Garrard is up to 137 yards and remains perfect through nine attempts.

Owens has caught fire as of late, putting up 412 yards in his previous three games after a slow start. Palmer has been very hot and cold, with three 300-yard games and two sub-200 efforts. He’s thrown multiple touchdowns in four games, with a pair of multiple-interception outings.
A big day from Owens might not be all that surprising, as his last game against the Dolphins was one of his only two impressive games of 2009.
