David Garrard, Calvin Johnson, And Jamaal Charles Star In Early Round Of NFL Games

After today's 1 o'clock round of games, Jaguars QB David Garrard, Lions WR Calvin Johnson, and Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles have been our most impressive fantasy stars.

Garrard led the way with four passing touchdowns and a rushing score as the Jags pounded the Cowboys in Dallas. Completing 17 of his 24 attempts, his 260 yards amounted to his highest passing total since late last season. His only demerit: a lost fumble.

Lions QB Matthew Stafford threw four touchdowns of his own, three of them to Johnson. Megatron now has two straight 100-yard, multi-touchdown games after a slow start. Stafford had possibly the second best game of his career after missing the Lions' last five games with an injury.

The Chiefs outlasted the Bills in overtime, largely due to Charles' 238 yards on 26 touches. He was Kansas City's leading rusher and receiver, and went over 100 yards rushing for the first time since his four-game streak to close 2009.
