Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em, Week 10: Dez Bryant Should Star

RB Fred Jackson (vs DET) - This is perhaps the best scenario for Jackson who has been quiet even in the wake of Marshawn Lynch's departure. With Ryan Fitzpatrick leading a solid Bills aerial attack, expect Jackson to find some running room on the edges, away from impact rookie DT Ndamukong Suh. Jackson is averaging 18 touches over the last four games and those opportunities should translate into fantasy points against a weak Detroit front. The likelihood of the Bills being blown out and abandoning the run are also diminished against a team like Detroit, so expect Jackson to be involved from start to finish this weekend. He's a fine RB2 play.

WR Dez Bryant (@NYG) - It's clear that Jon Kitna and Bryant got some preseason and second team reps in because the two appear to be in sync. Since Kitna has come in for the injured Romo, Bryant has 20 receptions for 224 yards and 3 scores. And against his Week 10 opponent, the Giants, Bryant erupted for 3 scores including an eye-opening punt return to the house. Bryant is fully living up to lofty preseason expectations and with the Giants admitted fixation on stopping opposing run games, and the presence of Miles Austin and Jason Witten, expect Bryant to be busy in the Meadowlands as a solid WR2 play.

TE Joel Dreessen (@JAX) - The announcement that the oft-injured Owen Daniels will miss Week 10 with a sore hamstring allows Dreessen to make his second start in as many weeks. Dreessen led all Texans not named Arian Foster in targets, receptions, and yards. This week the Texans face an abysmal Jaguars defense that has surrendered 5 TD's over the last 6 games to TE's. Dreessen should see anywhere from 5-10 looks in this game and post solid TE1 yardage numbers.

QB Tom Brady (@PIT) - Brady owners must be wishing the team didn't ship off WR Randy Moss, as Brady has thrown four just 5 scores in four weeks. Brady hasn't topped 300 yards yet this season and averaging just 228 yards per contest. This week the Pats will square off against an aggressive Pittsburgh front that ranks in the tops of the NFL in sacks and QB pressure. The Pats offense appears to be closer to the dink and dunk version we saw earlier in the decade than anything resembling the 2007 unit fantasy owners were hoping for when they spent an early draft pick on Brady. He's a low end QB1 going forward and closer to a QB2 for this week.

WR Randy Moss (@Mia) - Randy used to dominate the Fins secondary, notably his 4 touchdown performance with the Pats in '07. But in an earlier matchup this season, Moss was shadowed by CB Vontae Davis and held without a catch. Moss won't be operating with a full playbook this week and may not know which QB will be under center. Moss is obviously one of the greatest talents the WR position has ever seen and he remains capable of scoring on any play. But with this his third team midway through the season it's likely that he'll take a week or two to adjust to his new settings. The Titans would be wise to use Moss as a decoy to help with running room for all world RB Chris Johsnon. Moss remains a high risk/high reward WR1 this week.
