Week 10 of the NFL season is upon us, which means only four fantasy football matchups remain until the postseason begins.
Fantasy Football Advice, Week 10: Garrard Is A Solid Waiver Wire Pickup; Best Is Worthy Of A Start
Three NFL players who find themselves in favorable fantasy football match-ups who are worthy of a start on Sunday.
This is a big week for the waiver wire, so make sure you check out Dave Halprin’s Start’Em Sit’Em piece for some solid pickups. We’ve watched the film, and we’re going to provide you with three solid starts for this week’s games:

Buy low, sell high. Not only is Garrard a solid start for Sunday, he’s also a recommended waiver wire pickup (if still available in your league).
It’s becoming routine to play-against Houston and their awful secondary in some way each week, and with good reason. You know, the pass defense which ranks dead-last in the NFL giving up 298.2 yards per game.
Garrard is underrated and has quietly been putting up solid fantasy numbers for his owners. In his last four starts, he has thrown nine touchdowns to only two interceptions. In three of those four games, he attained a quarterback rating of 122 or better.
We like him against a secondary which hasn’t been able to defend against, well, anything.
Saying Wayne is “due” for a big game is an understatement, as the WR1 has only one touchdown in his last six games.
Wayne should see plenty of targets with receivers Austin Collie and Anthony Gonzalez out. This renders Wayne as the sole vertical threat in Peyton Manning's offense.
The Bengals are a team which is collapsing, and we saw it in front of our eyes on Monday Night Football. We like starting Wayne as a play-against a bad team which Manning should be able to move the football consistently against.
In the last three weeks, Bengals have given up an average of 236.3 yards per game. We like Wayne to torch them.
RB Jahvid Best - Detroit Lions
With QB Matt Stafford now out for the season, we think RB Jahvid Best will see a lot of action against Buffalo and their horrid run defense which is giving up 178.2 yards per game.
Here is something you might not know: Best leads the Lions in receptions (41) . Not only is he a threat on the ground, but also via catching passes out of the backfield. He is a great open-field runner and we project him to break a couple of big plays on Sunday.
