Matt Schaub Injury Leaves Him Hospitalized; Expected To Be OK

Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub spent the night in a hospital Tuesday evening while he gets he gets an issue with his bursa sac taken care of. A knee injury sounds bad for a QB but, in this case, it's not expected to be a big deal so no need to scramble for a new fantasy football QB.

Schaub called the team after leaving the facility on Tuesday and said his knee was bothering him, at which point Texans coach Gary Kubiak said it was better to send him to the hospital for further evaluation.

"Just needed some rest, needed some treatment," Kubiak said. "We made a decision that it was best to get it there, then sit around here all day."
The Texans said there wasn't surgery or anything like that and Schaub should return on Thursday.
"Everything should be OK," Kubiak said. "I expect him here tomorrow. If that's the case, and he's doing what he normally does, he'll be out there."
That's an easy way to scare a fantasy football team -- tell them your QB is in the hospital overnight with a knee injury. Luckily for the Texans (and Schaub owners), it doesn't sound like a big deal. He's still expected to start next week.
