As the saying goes, the rich get richer and the injury depleted... get more injury depleted. That may not be exact phrasing, but that’s at least the case with the San Diego Chargers receiving corps, who have lost another of its members for the season to injury.
Fantasy Football Week 9 News: Chargers Place Buster Davis On IR
↵Craig “Buster” Davis, who has started last week at wideout for San Diego with regular starters Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee out of the line-up, was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday with a groin injury. With Davis now gone and Floyd not expected to return until after San Diego’s Week 10 bye, rookie receiver Seyi Ajirotutu is likely to start.
↵Ajirotutu was signed off the team’s practice squad before the Week 7 loss to New England. He had three catches for 48 yards in the Chargers’ win Sunday against the Titans. Against a weak Houston defense on Sunday, Ajirotutu could be an enticing waiver pick-up with Rivers throwing him the ball.
