Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, Week 9: LeGarrette Blount, Colt McCoy Could Fill Bye-Week Roster Holes
LeGarrette Blount and Colt McCoy are positioned for big fantasy points this week, and could help cure your bye-week blues.

A number of fantasy football stars will hit your bench this week as the Broncos, Jaguars, 49ers, Rams, Titans, Redskins all have the bye on the NFL schedule. So here is a list of players who have the week off and recommended replacements to get -- or keep -- your fantasy football team in the winner's circle.
Off: Chris Johnson, Titans
Waiver Pickup: LeGarrette Blount, Buccaneers
Blount had a monster week last week, and is slowly taking the starting running back job from Cadillac Williams. If he’s still available, Blount will add depth to your team for weeks to come.
Off: Kyle Orton, Broncos
Waiver Pickup: Colt McCoy, Browns
Although the Browns are having their usual lousy season, McCoy could have a big game this week against the Patriots. Quaterbacks have put up big numbers against the Pats this season as they rank 31st in passing defense.
Off: Brandon Lloyd, Broncos
Waiver Pickup: Steve Breaston, Cardinals
Going against a mediocre pass defense, Breaston could have the ball more this week as the Cards make a change at quarterback. Breaston could have back-to-back 100-yard games for the first time this season against a Vikings team filled with distractions.
Off: Maurice Jones-Drew, Jaguars
Waiver Pickup: Danny Woodhead, Patriots
The do-it-all man for the Patriots got into the endzone last week. Perfect for a flex position as he receives and rushes the ball. Going against a 22nd ranked defense, Woodhead (who averages 4.9 yards a rush) should get into the endzone again this week.
Off: Rob Bironas, Titans
Waiver Pickup: Lawrence Tynes, Giants
The Giants high powered offense gets back to work this week against a lousy Seahawks defense. Prepare for the G-Men to do a lot of scoring and for Tynes to have a big week.
