It’s now NFL week 9, which means we have officially surpassed the midway point of the season. There are only five weeks of fantasy football league play remaining, and we’re going to do everything we can to help you secure a postseason berth.
Fantasy Football Advice: Matt Forte, Terrell Owens Solid Starts In Week 9
Three NFL players who find themselves in favorable matchups this week in fantasy football. Start them.

We’ve done our homework, and here are three players we project will put up big fantasy football numbers this week:

RB Matt Forte
After a phenomenal start to the season for Forte, he has cooled down a bit in his last two games. No problem -- this week he gets the benefit of going up against the Bills and their abysmal defensive front.
Yes, the same defensive front that ranks dead-last in the NFL against the run, giving up 188.7 yards per game.
Chicago is coming off a bye week and Forte is rested. We like him to run wild on Sunday, so start him and reap the benefits.
Owens was targeted 12 times last week and is quickly becoming QB Carson Palmer's favorite receiver.
Here’s a little fact you probably didn’t know: Pittsburgh ranks No. 25 against the pass and is giving up 243.1 yards per game. We like Owens, who is currently No. 5 in fantasy points for wide receivers, to have a big game on Monday Night Football.
After a lackluster week in which he rushed for only 54 yards, the Jets threw the ball 38 times. The end result was a shutout at home.
It’s safe to say that the Jets will get back to their power running game against the team that ranks No. 27 against the rush and is giving up 130.4 yards per game.
Detroit will look to bring a lot of pressure against QB Mark Sanchez, and we like Tomlinson as the perfect counter to it.
