Bills receiver Steve Johnson has emerged as a huge fantasy sleeper over the past month or so and now that Roscoe Parrish, the team’s second-leading receiver after Johnson, is gone for the season, Johnson should be favored even more in the offense.
Fantasy Football Week 10 News: Roscoe Parrish Goes On IR, Making Steve Johnson Even More Valuable
↵Buffalo still has Lee Evans as a target, so it’s doubtful that Johnson would be immediately doubled by opposing defenses. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had praise of Johnson that was nothing short of gushing.
↵↵“He’s a guy that’s so reliable – a guy that understands the game, understands how to get open – and I trust him with my life, basically,” Fitzpatrick said. “I know where he’s going to be, and he’s a guy that makes plays.”
↵↵So there’s a bit of confidence in that connection. Johnson has four touchdowns over the past four games and two yardage totals above 140 yards in two of the past three weeks. Quite an emerging threat.
