BenJarvus Green Ellis Fantasy Recap: The Law Firm Dominates For Patriots

New England Patriots running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis, the man nicknamed The Law Firm, took firm control of the Patriots rushing committee as the as the hot hand on Sunday. Ellis finished the Patriots 30-21 victory over the Jets with 136 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries, dominating what had been a bit of a timeshare to date.

Although Danny Woodhead was injured, Stevan Ridley ended up as a bit of an odd man out with only seven carries for 13 yards just as his star seemed to be rising. However, Green-Ellis was so dominant the Patriots really could not justify taking him out of the game. Fantasy owners who went with Green-Ellis this week were rewarded handsomely.

The question becomes now what to do with Green-Ellis an Ridley in coming weeks. The Law Firm should remain in your lineup against Dallas before the bye, but if you have Ridley, it’s a tough call right now. If you are low on bodies due to week six byes, I suppose you have to roll the dice with him. I doubt we’ll hear much on the situation from Bill Belichick, but you never know. Maybe the hooded one will give us some insight on Monday. We’ll have more on this situation throughout the week.
