Fantasy Football Week 6 Overall Projections: Curtis Painter Earning Respect?
Week 6 means more bye teams and more decisions on who to start. We look at fantasy player projections to help.

Time for Week 6 projections. We start with the overall projections, if some of your players show up on this list, it’s a good bet you’ll want to play them this week. Then again, you’re probably already playing them. But, if your fortunate, you might be deciding between two top players at one spot.
Our friends at numberFire.com gave us the following list of their Top 25 player projections for Week 6 of fantasy football. They base their numbers on historical statistical data fed into magical computer algorithms that produce the projections.
Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers are the closest things to sure bets each week, and they occupy some of the tops spots. But Ray Rice over in Baltimore is projected to have a big game against the Texans and slides in at number three on the charts.
The bottom of the chart has some interesting picks, including a stunner with Colts quarterback Curtis Painter grabbing the 25th and last spot.
* Fantasy Points Projections are based on the Yahoo! and ESPN default scoring settings. Quarterbacks are scored with 1 point for every 25 passing yards, and 4 points for every touchdown. For running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, they are scored with 1 point for every 10 total yards, and 6 points for every touchdown. This is a non-PPR projection.
Injured players appear on the list, this is their projection IF they play.
