Fantasy Football Week 7 Quarterback Projections: Romo, Tebow Project Well
Week 7 of the fantasy football season brings us more decisions. Which players look like potential gold this weekend? We’ve got the projections.
We’re getting into that part of the fantasy season when the better teams start separating themselves from the weaker bunch. Which direction will your team go? In the new pass-happy NFL, the quarterback position is more important than ever in fantasy football, so let’s see who should be hot this weekend.
Our partner, numberfire.com, has provided us with projections for 25 top-rated quarterbacks in Week 7. They determine their projections by feeding the stats and matchups into the computer, and the computer responds with its best estimate.
These projections are live and may change before Sunday’s action. Come back over the next few days until game time to see where your players stand.
There's no Tom Brady this week, so Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees are currently the top two. Climbing into the third position at this point is Dallas' Tony Romo, who faces a very soft Rams defense. New starting quarterback Tim Tebow gets a surprisingly high projection. We don't have a projection yet on Carson Palmer, but he's definitely a consideration for fantasy rosters with quarterback issues because of performance, injury or bye weeks.
* Fantasy Points Projections are based on the Yahoo! and ESPN default scoring settings. Quarterbacks are scored with 1 point for every 25 passing yards, and 4 points for every touchdown. For running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, they are scored with 1 point for every 10 total yards, and 6 points for every touchdown. This is a non-PPR projection.
Injured players appear on the list, this is their projection IF they play.
