Fantasy Football Week 7 Wide Receiver Projections: Will Brandon Lloyd Prosper In St. Louis?
Week 7 of the fantasy football season brings us more decisions. Which players look like potential gold this weekend? We’ve got the projections.
There was movement on the wide receiver front at the trade deadline. Brandon Lloyd was sent from the Broncos to the Rams, where he'll likely slide in as the top option. Quarterback Sam Bradford is injured and his status is in doubt, so Lloyd is risky this week. What about all the other receivers?
Our partner, numberfire.com, has provided us with projections for 25 top-rated wide receivers in Week 7. They determine their projections by feeding the stats and matchups into the computer, and the computer responds with its best estimate.
These projections are live and may change before Sunday’s action. Come back over the next few days until game time to see where your players stand.
Of course, Calvin Johnson is the top projection. Megatron and Matthew Stafford have a special thing going on this year and fantasy owners are benefiting. A couple of Cowboys, Miles Austin and Dez Bryant are both healthy and both face a bad Rams defense, so both project out very well for Week 7.
Is there any Oakland receiver worth playing with new quarterback Carson Palmer? Darrius Heyward-Bey makes an appearance at the bottom of the top 25 projections, making him a flex-option.
* Fantasy Points Projections are based on the Yahoo! and ESPN default scoring settings. Quarterbacks are scored with 1 point for every 25 passing yards, and 4 points for every touchdown. For running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, they are scored with 1 point for every 10 total yards, and 6 points for every touchdown. This is a non-PPR projection.
