Although Tim Tebow led the Denver Broncos to a huge comeback Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, his performance for the first 55 minutes of the game was such that head coach John Fox had to clarify that Tebow would in fact remain starting quarterback heading into week eight. It is not a shocking decision considering the final few minutes of the game, but it was worth clarifying nonetheless. It's safe to say Denver would have rioted if Tebow did not start week eight.

Tebow finished the day with 161 passing yards, 65 rushing yards, two passing touchdowns and a two point conversion. He fumbled the ball once as well but managed to hang onto it. From a fantasy perspective, that would net approximately 22 points in a four-point passing touchdown league. That is a very good performance from a fantasy perspective.
Of course, both touchdowns and the two point conversion came in the final five minutes of a game against an awful Miami Dolphins team. Tebow got the numbers, but for fantasy football purposes he remains a tough call at quarterback. Scrambling quarterbacks always have extra value due to their rushing totals. Tebow grabbed 6.5 points just for his rushing totals. He is likely to put up decent rushing totals each week, which does mean there is some value there. More than likely Tebow is best served as a bye week fill-in. He doesn’t have a lot of fantastic matchups the rest of the way, so it is hard to say he is some kind of situational starter as well. It’s a shame that wild, comeback victories do not qualify for fantasy points. Tebow would be king.
