The big news on the fantasy football front comes out of Houston as Texans head coach Gary Kubiak stated in his Monday press conference that wide receiver Andre Johnson could miss some time, although the exact length is undetermined. He will get a second opinion this week, but the odds seem high that he will be inactive this Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.

Andre Johnson and the Texans are off to strong start but will have to regroup if the fantasy machine is going to miss some time. Jacoby Jones will take over Johnson's role in the offense, although it remains to be seen how effective he can be compared to Johnson. Jones can be a big play threat but he is off to a fairly slow start with only seven receptions for 91 yards.
This hurts for Matt Schaub who will be without one of the best receivers in the NFL. It will be interesting to see how much more he relies on tight end Owen Daniels until Johnson is healthy. It could mean big things for the tight end. It's also safe to say Arian Foster will continue to be a work-horse in this offense.
We’ll have more updates through the week as we hear about what second and possibly third opinions Johnson gets. It doesn’t look good right now, but things can change fairly suddenly.
