Andre Johnson Injury Update: John Clayton Reports Up To Three Week Absence

John Clayton went on Sportscenter Tuesday and reported that Andre Johnson would definitely miss Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders and could miss upwards of two to three weeks after that. The Texans have not provided specific confirmation, but Clayton generally has solid sources. We'll learn a little bit more as the week progresses and the team starts issuing their practice participation reports on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

As it currently stands, it is likely safe to move Andre Johnson to your bench and consider alternative wide receiver options. If your bench is a bit soft you could always consider adding Jacoby Jones who will attempt to fill Johnson's role in the offense at the X position. Owen Daniels is likely to benefit the most in terms of getting more looks from Matt Schaub, but when you remove the biggest weapon the team, it becomes a little easier for opponents to defend everybody else.
