Fantasy Football Week 5 Running Back Projections: Arian Foster On Top
Week 5 is the first week when teams are on a bye. See how that shakes up the projections for fantasy football.

Is your main running back on a bye this week? Do you have a backup worthy of starting? We check into the Week 5 projections from our partner, numberFire.com. Their super-computer has all the facts and figures that it crunches up with mathematical algorithms, then projects a player’s worth for the weekend.
Arian Foster returns to health and returns to the top of the running back charts. Foster will be integral to the Texans running game, even more so now that stud receiver Andre Johnson is expected to miss a few games.
Chris Johnson still hasn't regained the confidence of the fantasy computer, only coming in at eleventh this week against a Steelers defense that Foster ran all over last week. Stevan Ridley of the Patriots is a guy we've been touting on the waiver wire for a couple of weeks, but this week his projections aren't very high as the Pats battle the Jets. BenJarvus Green-Ellis still gets the higher ranking, but another week or so could have Ridley as the better bet.
* Fantasy Points Projections are based on the Yahoo! and ESPN default scoring settings. Quarterbacks are scored with 1 point for every 25 passing yards, and 4 points for every touchdown. For running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, they are scored with 1 point for every 10 total yards, and 6 points for every touchdown. This is a non-PPR projection.
Injured players appear on the list, this is their projection IF they play.
