Like kicker, many fantasy owners do not keep two defenses on their roster. It’s a little more flexible with defenses, sometimes you hold two if you happen to have a couple of the best and play the matchups each week. But in many cases, depending on how much help you need elsewhere, there’s only one spot allocated for a defense. Then comes the bye weeks, where you might find yourself forced to reach out to the waiver wire to grab a replacement. Week 5 begins the cycle of bye weeks.
Even though the Atlanta Falcons have some weapons on offense, the computer still sees their opponent, the Green Bay Packers, as the best defensive play for the week. A couple of defenses are going against offense that have been struggling, giving the Patriots defense and the Giants defense a boost in the rankings this week.
