Don't get caught napping with your fantasy football roster, tonight marks the beginning of Thursday Night Football for the NFL when the Oakland Raiders travel to meet a division rival, the San Diego Chargers.
Fantasy Football Week 10: Raiders And Chargers Thursday Night Game Preview
The Raiders and the Chargers kickoff the Thursday night games for the 2011 season. We check in to see what the fantasy projections are for both teams.

The big news for the game is, of course, the absence of star running back Darren McFadden for Oakland. McFadden has been ruled out of the game; bad news for his owners, but good news for Michael Bush owners. (You can track all the Week 10 injuries for fantasy purposes at our injury report). Bush is a very good backup running back and should see most of the carries for Oakland.
Both quarterbacks in this game are under scrutiny. Philip Rivers is under fire for turning the ball over. He can still have explosive days, just ask Vincent Jackson owners from last week, so for fantasy purposes is still a good play. Carson Palmer is the new guy in Oakland, and while he threw for three for touchdowns last week in his first start, he also threw three interceptions. He also threw three interceptions in the second-half of the game before that.
There are plenty of guys worthy of starting in this game. So we decided to check with our partner, numberfire.com. Below are their projections for the main guys on Oakland and San Diego.
* Fantasy Points Projections are based on the Yahoo! and ESPN default scoring settings. Quarterbacks are scored with 1 point for every 25 passing yards, and 4 points for every touchdown. For running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, they are scored with 1 point for every 10 total yards, and 6 points for every touchdown. This is a non-PPR projection.
Injured players may appear on the list, this is their projection IF they play.
