Fantasy Football Week 11 Quarterback Projections: Michael Vick Status Uncertain
The playoffs are getting close so each roster decision is magnified. We offer up some projections for fantasy football in Week 11.
Week 10 was a nightmare for starting quarterbacks in the NFL. Matt Schaub wouldn't have been playing this week anyway because of a bye, but now it looks like he won't be playing any week soon. Schaub has a foot injury and is out indefinitely. Matt Cassel had surgery on his hand, he may return later in the year but nothing is certain. Mike Vick broke a couple of ribs and his status is uncertain. Owners of Ben Roethlisberger and Drew Brees are also bumming, but only because they're on a bye.
So who can you depend on in Week 11 at quarterback? Our partner, numberfire.com, has provided us with projections for 15 top-rated quarterbacks in Week 11. They determine their projections by feeding the stats and matchups into the computer, and the computer responds with its best estimate.

Aaron Rodgers is the top dog in the early projections, with Tom Brady and Cam Newton next. The Panthers may not be winning, but for a rookie quarterback to have so much success fantasy-wise is unusual. Michael Vick projects out well, but he may not play, or if he does he'll be limited. Tim Tebow continues to move up the charts, he's gone from worst than an afterthought to a viable start for quarterbacked-strapped rosters.
* Fantasy Points Projections are based on the Yahoo! and ESPN default scoring settings. Quarterbacks are scored with 1 point for every 25 passing yards, and 4 points for every touchdown. For running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, they are scored with 1 point for every 10 total yards, and 6 points for every touchdown. This is a non-PPR projection.
