Fantasy Football Week 11 Running Back Projections: Reggie Bush On Hot Streak
The playoffs are getting close so each roster decision is magnified. We offer up some projections for fantasy football in Week 11.
As with the quarterbacks in Week 10, a few running backs are looking at injury. Backup Knowshon Moreno, who was starting to see more action in the Tim Tebow-led Broncos offense, is out for the year with an ACL. Denver starter Willis McGahee is battling a hamstring issue. Frank Gore's ankle injury limited his ability to play. LaDainian Tomlinson picked up a knee injury and has been ruled out for Week 11.
So who can you depend on in Week 11? Our partner, numberfire.com, has provided us with projections for 30 top-rated running backs in Week 11. They determine their projections by feeding the stats and matchups into the computer, and the computer responds with its best estimate.
These projections are live and may change before Sunday’s action. Come back over the next few days until game time to see where your players stand.
Most of the usual suspects at the top of the projections, but one-month sensation DeMarco Murray keeps moving up the charts and lands in the top 10 in the early projections. He may lose a few carries to the returning Felix Jones, we'll have to see how they divvy up the carries. Reggie Bush started slowly for the Dolphins this year, but has been coming on in the past few weeks and grabs a nice projection. With Ahmad Bradshaw still banged-up, Brandon Jacobs' value is up.
* Fantasy Points Projections are based on the Yahoo! and ESPN default scoring settings. Quarterbacks are scored with 1 point for every 25 passing yards, and 4 points for every touchdown. For running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, they are scored with 1 point for every 10 total yards, and 6 points for every touchdown. This is a non-PPR projection.
Injured players appear on the list, this is their projection IF they play.
