Lee Evans Questionable With Ankle Injury

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Lee Evans was limited throughout the week's practices and is listed as "Questionable" for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals with an ankle injury.

Acquired from the Buffalo Bills in August, Evans, who was expected to stretch the field for the Ravens offense, has not played since September 18. Prior to his injury, Evans caught two passes for 45 yards.

The Bengals boast the league's fifth-ranked defense, ranking tenth against the pass. Cincinnati's secondary will be short-staffed this week, having lost starting cornerback Leon Hall to a torn Achilles in last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Kelly Jennings, a 2006 first-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks, will start opposite Nate Clements.

If Evans cannot play, 2011 second-round pick Torrey Smith is expected to continue to start opposite Anquan Boldin. Smith has 23 receptions for 425 yards and four touchdowns. The Ravens also frequently employ two-tight end sets, with Dennis Pitta and Ed Dickson combining for 65 catches, 600 yards and three touchdowns.
