Fantasy Football Week 12 Running Back Projections: Matt Forte Must Produce For Bears
Your weekly position projections for fantasy football come a little early this week as six teams play on Thursday.
The running back position has been a carousel of injured players so far in 2011. Add one of the guys who is usually at the top of the projections to the injured list this week. Adrian Peterson’s high ankle sprain could keep him out of action this week.
So who can you depend on in Week 12 at running back? Our partner, numberfire.com, has provided us with projections for 30 top-rated running backs in Week 12. They determine their projections by feeding the stats and matchups into the computer, and the computer responds with its best estimate.
These projections are live and may change before Sunday’s action. Come back over the next few days until game time to see where your players stand.
With Michael Vick hurting and Vince Young turning in an uneven performance in his absence, LeSean McCoy projects out very well as it's anticipated the Eagles will turn to their workhorse back for production on Sunday. Matt Forte is in the same position for the Bears as new quarterback Caleb Hanie takes over for the injured Jay Cutler. More projections are below, but take note that injured players could appear in our list, you'll need to check back later int he week to see if they're going to play. You can follow all the injuries here.
* Fantasy Points Projections are based on the Yahoo! and ESPN default scoring settings. Quarterbacks are scored with 1 point for every 25 passing yards, and 4 points for every touchdown. For running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, they are scored with 1 point for every 10 total yards, and 6 points for every touchdown. This is a non-PPR projection.
Injured players appear on the list, this is their projection IF they play.
