Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb is still dealing with foot injuries and has missed the past three weeks, ceding time to John Skelton. Kolb has still not sufficiently recovered from his injuries, and is inactive for the Cardinals' Week 12 matchup against the St. Louis Rams, meaning Skelton will start again.
John Skelton To Start, Kevin Kolb Out For Cardinals In Week 12
Skelton hasn't been a disaster for the Cardinals as many anticipated, In fact, he's been a blessing for owners of Larry Fitzgerald, who has ramped up his production, catching a touchdown pass each of the past three weeks with Skelton under center.
Skelton has been given the green light to throw early and often. His past two games, he’s had 40 and 35 attempts, and he’s combined for four touchdowns in those two games with just one interception.
