Tarvaris Jackson A Game-Time Decision On Sunday

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is listed as "Probable" and all signs are pointing to him starting against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll characterized Jackson as a “game-time decision”, Eric Williams of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.

“He’s ready to play at this point,” Carroll said about Jackson. “We know now what to expect, maybe more so. He practiced Wednesday and couldn’t practice on Thursday. So he threw a little bit today, and we need to see what happens by Sunday. … I don’t know until we get there.

Jackson has been recovering from a pectoral muscle injury, sustained before the team's bye week, that kept him out of a 6-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 7 and out for the start of the Week 8's 34-12 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Jackson replaced an ineffective Charlie Whitehurst in the second of the Bengals game, completing 21-of-40 pass attempts for 323 yards as he attempted to rally the now 2-5 Seahawks from behind.

Jackson was able to participate fully in Wednesday’s practice and was limited on Thursday before return to full participation on Friday.
