Nothing in the world (of warcraft fantasy football) can be more annoying than relying on a player to carry your team to victory only to watch that player lay an egg. You didn’t need him last week because so-and-so scored like a million points but this week you needed him to perform, and he was going up against the lowest ranked defense in the league. What happened? I don’t know but there’s a decent chance he was contacted by the guy who’s playing against you and accepted some sort of bribe. You should probably look into that or at least call the division of the local police that handles this kind of thing.

Well, while you’re on hold, here five fantasy duds from Week 9 of the 2011 season. And guess what. Chris Johnson is not included.
Beanie Wells has had a pretty decent season so far in 2011 and coming off a big game in Baltimore against the Ravens defense, you'd think he'd tear up the Rams, right? Well that wasn't the case. Wells carried the ball 10 times for a whopping 20 yards against the Rams, who sport the worst run defense in the league.

In the two games prior to the Chiefs Week 9 matchup, they had forced 10 turnovers and even scored two touchdowns. On Sunday they played against one of the two winless teams, the Miami Dolphins, at home and were riding a four-game win streak.
Before I tell you how bad the Chiefs defense played, you should probably know that the Dolphins aren’t winless anymore.
On a week when they were one of the hottest free agency acquisitions, the Chiefs defense allowed 31 points and didn’t force a single turnover.

Schaub was one of the best fantasy quarterbacks a couple years ago but he has been just okay so far this year. His biggest problem is not having Andre Johnson in the lineup and because of that he's struggled a little. If you started him this weekend against the Browns it was probably because either Cam Newton or Matthew Stafford was your usual starter and you were relying on Schaub to win the game for you as your backup.
Well, if you won it wasn’t because of Schaub.
He threw for only 119 yards, no touchdowns and one interceptions.

The Browns came into their Week 9 matchup against the Texans without Peyton Hillis and without Mantario Hardesty which meant that Chris Ogbonnaya was going to get the bulk of the Browns carries. Well he did get the bulk of the Browns carries, he just couldn't do anything once he got the ball.
He carried the ball 10 times for 28 yards and added a catch for 13 yards but he lost a fumble during the game and really didn’t do anything to help the Browns as they went on to lose their fifth game of the season.

Last week Dez Bryant and Miles Austin didn't help the Cowboys as they got smashed by the Philadelphia Eagles and this week, Tony Romo's top-two receivers didn't help him again. Even though the Cowboys beat the Seahawks and even though Romo threw for 279 yards and two touchdowns, only 100 yards was split between Austin and Bryant and neither of them scored a touchdown.
In Austin’s defense, he left the game early with a hamstring injury.
Score: both scored five points.
