Yup, it’s time for projecting the kickers! Let the hoopla begin. Seriously though, we check in on the Week 10 prospects
Our partner, numberfire.com, has provided us with projections for 15 top-rated kickers in Week 10. They determine their projections by feeding the stats and matchups into the computer, and the computer responds with its best estimate.
Mason Crosby continues to dominate the kickers projections mainly because the Packers offense scores so many touchdowns each week, Crosby is guaranteed a handful of extra-points. Add in a field goal or two, and it's a very good day. A rookie kicker has been moving up the charts all year, Dan Bailey from the Cowboys. Dallas hasn't been scoring touchdowns in the redzone, so Bailey is getting plenty of field goal opportunities each week, and he's nailing them. Replacement kicker Nick Novak has been thriving out in San Diego.
