Turnovers have been a problem for the Minnesota Vikings and rookie quarterback Christian Ponder, but if you can eat the loss of fantasy points from his two first-half interceptions, he’s having a decent day. Ponder has two touchdowns, and has completed 10 of 18 passes for 87 yards.
Christian Ponder Fantasy: Two Touchdowns, Two Picks
The Minnesota Vikings’ rookie quarterback was dealing with some hip troubles earlier in the week, following a tight game against the Denver Broncos. He practiced a little on Friday and Saturday. Still, his effectiveness seemed iffy heading into the game.
Ponder put himself on the map last week with a big game against the Broncos and you know you. Ponder had 381 passing yards, three touchdowns and two touchdowns. Since taking over for the now forgotten Donovan McNabb, Ponder has 1,522 passing yards, nine touchdowns and eight interceptions.
