Wes Welker Status Update: Patriots WR Will Start

New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker was limited all week in practice with a soft cast on his wrist, but is listed as probable for the match up with the Washington Redskins and is expected to play. The cast is not a concern to the team and is more of a precautionary measure than anything else. Welker will start and be involved in the game plan like he is normally.

If Welker is on your roster, he should be in the starting line up. He is just 7 receptions away from becoming only the third receiver in NFL history to post four 100-reception seasons. As it stands, Wes Welker is on pace to catch 124 receptions with 1,670 yards and 11 touchdowns for the season. Welker has had seven games this season of at least 100 receiving yards.
