Brandon Jacobs Status Update: Giants RB To Play Despite Missing Two Days Of Practice

New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs is officially listed as probable against the Dallas Cowboys in an important NFC East match up, but is expected to play. Jacobs is dealing with a hamstring injury, but he should still get his typical amount of short yardage and goal line carries. The team held Jacobs out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday as a precautionary measure and is expected to be active.

If Jennings is in your line up, it should be as a RB2 in a touchdown heavy league. His role as of now is the back up running back and short yardage guy for the Giants offense. When Ahmad Bradshaw returned from injury last week, Jacobs touches took a serious dive, getting only 8 touches and played significantly less than the still hobbled Bradshaw.
