Shonn Greene Fantasy Status: Jets RB Will Start On Sunday

New York Jets running back Shonn Greene is set to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and is coming off one of his better games. Last week against the Washington Redskins, Greene had only 88 rushing yards but got into the endzone three different times. With LaDainian Tomlinson's knee banged up, Greene figures to get a lot more touches in the offense.

If Greene is in your fantasy line up, it should be as an RB2 in touchdown heavy leagues, similar to Brandon Jacobs. With Tomlinson getting dinged up late in games now, Greene will get even more carries in garbage time while still maintaining his role as the short yardage and goal line back. For the season, Green has just 739 rushing yards with five touchdowns, three of which came in last weeks game.
