Percy Harvin Status Update: Vikings WR To Play With Finger Injury

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin is officially listed as probable on the injury report this week, but is expected to play on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Harvin is dealing with a finger injury, but it is not believed to have any effect on him as far as availability for the game. There were also conflicting reports earlier in the week that Harvin's migraines had returned, but nothing was ever confirmed.

Harvin should be a good play as a WR2 this week, but the reports of his migraines return and dealing with a finger injury could make him a bit of gamble. Harvin has developed a nice rapport with rookie quarterback Christian Ponder, however. Harvin has gone over 70 yards receiving in the past three weeks, with four total touchdowns in the same span.
