Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is still bothered by sore ribs, but is expected to start against the New York Jets on Sunday.
Michael Vick Will Start Vs Jets
Vick is officially listed as “Probable” on the team’s final injury report of the week.
Vick suffered the injury during a loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10, with backup Vince Young starting three games before Vick was able to return for last week's win over the Miami Dolphins. Vick completed 15-of-30 pass attempts for 208 yards with a touchdown and an interception, and added nine yards with his legs, but came out of the game in relatively good shape despite being sacked four times.
Vick was held out of Wednesday’s practice, but practiced fully and expects to keep playing his style of football.
I take a lot of hits, I get hit, but it doesn’t affect me. I get up from it,” Vick said last week according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. “When I was a young man, we used to play football in the backyard, and I got hit probably six million times up until this point.”
