Fantasy Football Week 16 Kicker Projections: David Akers Continues To Thrive
The final position projections for the 2011 fantasy season are in, see who you should be putting into your starting lineup.
Anybody who has read these pages this season knows how I feel about kickers. Just find one that works, and unless he's injured or tanks, you ride him. Now, that's pretty easy to do if you got David Akers, who is exactly what the doctored ordered for the San Francisco 49ers offense. Lack of touchdowns has led to plenty of chances for Akers, and he's converted. Other top kickers in 2011 include vets John Kasay and Mason Crosby, plus rookie Dan Bailey. Some owners do play the matchups with kickers, so let's check the projections for Week 16.
Our partner, numberfire.com, has provided us with projections for 15 top-rated kickers in Week 16. They determine their projections by feeding the stats and matchups into the computer, and the computer responds with its best estimate.
These projections are live and may change before Sunday’s action. Come back over the next few days until game time to see where your players stand.
