Robert Meachem Fantasy Stats: Saints Wide Receiver Has Big Day In Victory

Robert Meachem certainly isn't the most consistent option on the New Orleans Saints as far as fantasy football purposes are concerned, but he's proven in recent weeks that he's still worth owning just in case he breaks out. One of Drew Brees' favorite targets had one of those types of games on Sunday for the second time in four weeks, too, despite not catching a single pass last week.

Meachem was targeted six times on Sunday Night Football against the Detroit Lions, and while he only caught three of them, the veteran wideout made the most of his receptions. Meachem ended his night with 119 yards and the touchdown shown below.

Meachem has had just four outings with double-digit fantasy points this season, making him one of the more frustrating players in the fantasy football leagues. Considering he’s really good when he’s good, however, it’s difficult to leave him out on the free agency wire for another owner to pick up for the playoffs.
