Arian Foster Injury: Ben Tate Solid Again As Foster Hamstring Acts Up

The Houston Texans were forced to sit Arian Foster on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins as Foster's balky hamstring injury was re-aggravated. Head coach Gary Kubiak said after the game Foster was simply fatigued, by the Texans running back, but Foster told John McClain that he pulled himself out because the hamstring was getting a little tight.

The Texans were able to get by without Foster though as backup running back Ben Tate continued his strong start to the season. After rushing for 116 yards in the season opener, Tate rushed for 106 yards in the Texans 23-13 victory over the Dolphins. He added 32 receiving yards as well.

Hamstring pulls are a very tricky injury given how easy it is to aggravate them. It would not be surprising to see the Texans sit Foster for this coming week's practice and Sunday's game against the Saints. The Texans do not have a bye until week 11 so they'll have to play it by ear how long they plan on sitting Foster.
