A day after sitting out Monday Night Football against the New York Giants, St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson's status remains day-to-day, although the Rams are hopeful he'll be able to play on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. He tried out his quad prior to Monday Night Football but there was enough pain to deactivate him. For the next few days we'll be keeping an eye on his participation in practice.
Steven Jackson Injury Update: Cadillac Williams Injury Might Push Up Timetable
Although it sounds likely that Jackson will be back on Sunday, the Rams could use him all the more because backup running back Cadillac Williams is also listed as day-to-day with a hamstring injury. Cadillac exited Monday's game late with the injury and will likely be a bit limited in practice this week. For fantasy owners, Cadillac was likely already on the outs with the return of Steven Jackson. More than likely this further devalues Williams. We'll keep an eye on the practice participation reports for both backs this week.
