The Washington Redskins have confirmed, via the Washington Times, that WR Pierre Garcon has an inflamed capsule under the second toe on his right foot. Garcon missed Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings after experiencing more pain in his foot in practice, and an MRI on Monday revealed the inflammation.
Pierre Garcon has inflamed toe, fantasy value on the rocks again
Pierre Garcon has an inflamed toe and his status is up in the air - again. We break down the fantasy implications.

Coach Mike Shanahan insisted that Garcon does not have turf toe, and hopes that extended rest will help it heal faster. Garcon has played only three games this season dealing with the lingering injury.
Fantasy Impact: This isn’t the first time Shanahan has said that Garcon’s gameday availability depended on “pain tolerance”. The team doesn’t have their bye until Week 10, or else they may just shut him down now. As it is, sounds like we’ll be doing the “limited practice” and “game time decision” song-and-dance for yet another week.
Fantasy owners should just keep Garcon on the bench until he’s proven to be 100%. He’s been barely productive even when active.
