Clyde Gates was held out of practice again Wednesday as he recovers from a shoulder injury suffered in Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.

While Gates has just two catches on the season, he provides a decimated Jets' receiving corps with some much-needed depth. With Santonio Holmes lost for the season, Jeremy Kerley now tops the depth chart, followed by Stephen Hill and Chaz Schilens.
Fantasy Impact: Gates had an opportunity to produce with Holmes on the shelf, but his injury stemmed any positive momentum. He could lose his spot on the depth chart as a result. In any case, there is no proof he would have developed into much of a fantasy option.
The Jets will go with a make-shift receiving corps once again when they take on the New England Patriots on Sunday. Kerley remains the only viable fantasy option as Mark Sanchez continues to struggle under center.
