Pierre Garcon doubtful for Week 7 but still has confidence of Redskins coach: Fantasy implications
Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon is listed as doubtful for Week 7 but coach Mike Shanahan is still confident that Garcon will be productive once he’s healthy. We break down the fantasy implications.

Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon continues to struggle with a foot injury but coach Mike Shanahan is confident that Garcon will help the offense again this season. Shanahan tells Jason Reid of The Washington Post that Garcon will show he's a No. 1 receiver once he's healed.
Garcon hurt his foot in Week 1 in New Orleans, where he scored on an 88-yard touchdown pass. Since then, Garcon has only played in two other games and his only other touchdown came on a fumble recovery against Tampa Bay. He will likely not play in Week 7 against the New York Giants.
Fantasy Impact: Shanahan has every right to have confidence in Garcon but fantasy owners just to have to wait. Garcon has tried to play twice since hurting the foot and had a setback days before the game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Week 1 seems like a long time ago for fantasy owners who have held on to Garcon, but he’s worth keeping if roster space isn’t a problem. He should not be in any fantasy lineups in Week 7.
