New England Patriots TE Aaron Herrnandez (ankle) returned to practice on Friday, reports Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald. It's an encouraging sign for his game status after sitting out Thursday's practices. Hernandez is still on track to play in Week 7 against the New York Jets.
Aaron Hernandez returns to practice Friday, fantasy owners can breathe sigh of relief
Aaron Hernandez returned to practice Friday and is on track to play against the Jets. We break down the fantasy implications.

Hernandez missed three games this season with a sprained ankle.
Fantasy Impact: Sounds like ultimately Hernandez was just getting a day off Thursday, and we don't have to worry about any setbacks. The Patriots plan on increasing his snap counts this week (he played 38-of-84 offensive snaps against the Seahawks in Week 6) as they ease him back into action.
When healthy, Hernandez is one of the best tight ends in the league. Fantasy owners who patiently kept him on the bench can safely slot him back in as a TE1 against the Jets.
