Holmes had to be carted off the field after hurting himself during last week's loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Santonio Holmes may be out for 2012 Jets season: Fantasy implications
The Jets are awaiting word on Santonio Holmes’ status, but the organization feels the wide receiver may be done for the season with a foot injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: This is bad news for fantasy owners, worse news for the Jets, and even worse news for Holmes. The veteran wideout was the only thing the Jets' offense really had going for itself. He had nine receptions for 147 yards in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins. With Holmes out, the Jets have to hope Jeremy Kerley and rookie Stephen Hill can be carry the receiving corps on their own. Until they prove they can, neither is worth much fantasy consideration except as potential bench options.
