Josh Freeman leads QB’s in Week 7 with monster performance: Fantasy Implications
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman had a strong statistical performance in Week 7. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Freeman handled his own and the team’s game plan revealed how crucial he is to the offense. The Bucs run game hasn’t been as efficient as expected, so the team has continually relied on their strong-armed quarterback to keep them in ball games.
Fantasy Analysis: It was a great day statistically for Freeman, even though his team lost. The Bucs QB put up a very good effort, and his attempts through the air are encouraging for fantasy players. Even more encouraging was that Freeman did not throw an interception on the day.
Freeman has been an inconsistent player and hardly a viable fantasy option in any leagues. At best, Freeman can be a bye-week filler. However, if he can continue to put up monster yards and be depended on for the team’s scoring, he could develop into a low-end backup.
