Aaron Hernandez caught five passes for 54 yards in the Patriots win over the Jets in Week 7. The tight end who recently returned from an ankle injury still appears to be less than 100 percent, though.
Aaron Hernandez has a reduced role in Week 7: fantasy implications
Aaron Hernandez saw a reduced role in Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.

As Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston notes, Hernandez only played 57 of 80 offensive snaps on Sunday, noting his reduced role still stems from his ankle issue.
Fantasy Impact: Hernandez finished fourth in targets with seven, finishing behind Rob Gronkowski, Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd. He is still seeing plenty of action with limited snaps, so fantasy owners shouldn’t worry too much as long as he doesn’t suffer a setback.
Check on Hernandez’s status throughout the week, but plan on starting him like usual. The Patriots take on the Rams next week, a team that has only allowed one touchdown to opposing tight ends this season.
