Tight end Chris Cooley officially returned to the Washington Redskins on Monday, a day after losing starting tight end Fred Davis for the season because of an Achilles injury. The Redskins released Cooley before the season but there was always a chance that he could return should someone get injured.
Chris Cooley back with Washington Redskins: Fantasy implications
Tight end Chris Cooley re-signed with the Washington Redskins on Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cooley on Monday told Rich Campbell of The Washington Times that he hasn't been told what his role will be with the team, but added that he never wanted to go anywhere else. The Redskins face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact: This move will be a popular one with most Redskins fans but it’s hard to imagine Cooley helping many fantasy owners. It will be interesting to see how quickly Washington gets Cooley back on the field, as there is certainly a hole to fill because of the injury to Davis.
Fantasy owners should look elsewhere for help at tight end, for now.
