Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hand) is officially inactive for Monday Night Football against the Detroit Lions, reports ESPN Chicago. Jeffery was already ruled out earlier in the week, so this is just official confirmation. He suffered a fractured hand in Week 5 against the Jaguars, and is expected to be out 4-6 weeks.
Alshon Jeffery inactive for MNF, no fantasy value for a while
Alshon Jeffery is inactive for MNF as he’s recovering from a broken hand. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jeffery flashed some promise as a rookie, with 14 catches for 184 yards and two TDs.
Fantasy Impact: With Jeffery out of the picture for a while, the Bears will start Devin Hester as the No. 2 WR opposite Brandon Marshall. Hester is probably the greatest returner in league history, but his wideout production is...questionable at best.
Marshall remains the only Bears WR worth starting in fantasy while Jeffery is on the shelf.
