Jay Cutler got off to a good fantasy start on Monday Night Football. He found Brandon Marshall on a seven-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. We break down the fantasy implications.

He has cooled off a bit since. Early in the second quarter, he is 6-for-11 passing for 24 yards and a touchdown. He has found five different receivers so far on the night.
Fantasy Impact: Cutler has thrown two touchdowns in each of his last two games, and is on pace to surpass that number against a weak Lions’ secondary. He has almost (with emphasis on almost) put behind his ugly performances early in the season.
Cutler is slowly becoming relevant in fantasy again, but he’s tough to recommend as a weekly starter knowing that an implosion could be right around the corner. He is worth a bench spot in standard fantasy formats, and the occasional start if there is a particularly juicy matchup (the Lions would have been one) or if you need help during a bye.
