Jay Cutler sore, but fantasy owners can expect him to play in Week 8
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler said he expects to play in Week 8 after taking a hard shot to the ribs on Monday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cutler threw for 150 yards a touchdown against Detroit and also had 34 yards rushing.
Fantasy Impact: Cutler has had his moments as a fantasy quarterback and Monday’s effort was average. Cutler has turned Brandon Marshall into a No. 1 fantasy receiver, while Cutler remains closer to a No. 2 quarterback in most weeks.
Fantasy owners should expect better numbers from Cutler against the Panthers, who recent placed defensive back Chris Gamble on the injured reserve. Cutler should be considered a solid bye-week replacement for Week 8.
