Blaine Gabbert says he will practice Wednesday, and is expected to play Sunday when the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Green Bay Packers, John Oehser of the Jags' official site reports. Gabbert suffered a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder during last week's loss to the Oakland Raiders.
Blaine Gabbert expected to play Sunday for Jaguars: Fantasy implications
Blaine Gabbert is expected to practice Wednesday, and play Sunday when the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Green Bay Packers. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Jags would have had to turn to Chad Henne, who went 9-for-20 passing for 71 yards last week, if Gabbert was forced to sit. Gabbert played well before leaving Sunday's game, going 8-for-12 for 110 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: It is certainly good news for the Jags to have Gabbert back behind center, especially with running back Maurice Jones-Drew already ruled out. Still, Gabbert remains one of the worst starting quarterback options in just about every fantasy format.
The Jags rank dead last in the NFL averaging just 145 yards passing per game, but at least Gabbert provides a minimum-level threat to throw the ball, unlike Henne. That should take some pressure off Rashad Jennings to produce in the running game.
