Pittsburgh Steelers running backs Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) and Isaac Redman (ankle) both sat out Wednesday's practice with injuries. Fellow running back Jonathan Dwyer also missed practice, but for "personal reasons" and isn't expected to miss the game against the Broncos on Sunday night.
Rashard Mendenhall, Isaac Redman sit out practice, Jonathan Dwyer’s fantasy value rising
With their top two backs nursing injuries, Dwyer has a chance to make an impact on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Dwyer currently leads the team with 192 yards rushing and 4.7 yards per carry, and while signs might point to both Mendenhall and Redman suiting up in Week 8, Mike Tomlin might go with the hot hand. Last week against the Bengals, Dwyer had 122 yards on 17 carries.
Fantasy Take: The Steelers running game has picked up over the last few weeks and is deadlier with a healthy Rashard Mendenhall. However, this week it seems like Dwyer is the safer play. Owners could be taking a risk to start Dwyer, Mendenhall, or Redman since the game is on Sunday night, but Dwyer would be the safest play.
